Greetings everyone,
My name is Steven. I'm a professional photographer residing in the Omaha area. I am also a proud member of the IFPO (International Freelance Photographers Organization). Please read further and find out how I can help you preserve your memories.
I have a passion for photography. When I was a child I spent much of my time snapping photos with my mothers old film cameras. I also drove my grandfather nuts by constantly asking to borrow his Bell & Howell 8MM film camcorder. I would spend hours shooting icicles in the winter as the sun slowly melted them and the water drops fell gently to the frozen ground below.
Later I graduated to a VHS Camcorder and a Hewlett Packard digital camera. The camcorder was huge by today's standards and the digital still camera shot grainy, low resolution photos. I upgraded several times to better cameras as digital technology advanced as well as whenever my bank account had a positive cash flow and my girlfriend would let me spend $1000.00 or more on a lens and $2500.00 or more on camera bodies. ;)
Today I shoot with a Canon EOS 5D and a Canon EOS 40D digital camera. The 5D is my workhorse, and I love it. This is one of the best cameras anyone can purchase. I use a 580 EX flash as well as professional lighting umbrellas and softboxes. I have four of Canons highest quality lenses. A 50MM f/1.2 L, a 85MM f/1.2 L, a 100MM f/2.8 and a 24-105 f/4 IS L series lens.
I would like to provide you with creative, memorable photos for your special occasion. I have the experience, the equipment, and the professional software to edit your images for the highest quality photo's possible.
My rates are quite low in comparison to other photographers. But this does NOT mean there will be a compromise in quality. As I said, I work by myself, as a freelance photographer. I have no "middle man" and no employees so I can pass the savings on to you while earning a living for myself. Generally, my rates for weddings are $199 for up to 4-hours, $299 for up to 8-hours, and 10-12 hours of photography services for just $399. There are no limits to the number of photo's I will take. Typically, I shoot between 500-750 photo's per wedding. My rate for Engagement photo sessions is $75.00 for up to 50 portrait poses. The photo's can be taken at a location of your choice, or, if you know of none, I know of several spectacular surroundings to help make your pictures all the more appealing.
I put all of my customers photos on either a CD or DVD- your choice. If you would like, I can print any of the images on them for you. Wallet size, 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10's are available. I will edit the images as needed for the best possible colors and I will also remove any unwanted effects such as red-eye. Black and white is a popular option as well as sepia tone, if you request these options.
